So many to thank

It may be natural for people to come together when someone dies, to support the family and each other in their loss. But from March 25, so many in this community who knew and loved Ian Sharp pulled together in their grief and love for him.

To all of you who made Open Mic For Ian Sharp at Eddie’s happen, to all of you who organized, cataloged, filmed, sang, read, cooked, set up, moved furniture, cleaned, participated and helped smoothly execute the March 31st memorial service and the following reception – to say thank you, however heartfelt, is only a small gesture of gratitude for everything that you did.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their sentiments to Ian’s Tree and to those who helped me to see an idea through to its first incarnation.

If I have overlooked anything or anyone, I apologize and thank you.

To the local businesses who also helped make things possible – many, many thanks, as your donations made such a difference: Eddie’s Roadhouse, Fetch, Frank’s Pizza, La Petite Cuisine, Tuscan Café, Warwick Community Center and Warwick General Rental.

Ian will be so missed, but we carry his love and understanding with us as we continue to share that love and support each other as a community.
