‘Selfless dedication’
On Aug. 28 I had the honor to attend the Warwick Senior Barbecue Picnic hosted by Town of Warwick. It was a wonderful event as always, and it was great to see so many seniors having such a wonderful time. It is such a great opportunity for all the seniors to get out and spend time with all their friends and family.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Supervisor Michael Sweeton and the Town of Warwick for all their time and hard work to make sure all the seniors had a great day.
In particular, I would also like to thank the men and women who volunteered their time:
• To the cooks Paul Karas, Mike Coleman, J.R. Pilmeier, Mark Kobylaski and the Town of Warwick DPW just to name a few.
• To the ShopRite of Warwick, Price Chopper of Warwick and Daegale Farms for their donations for the senior’s barbecue.
Without selfless dedication of all the volunteers, public events like the Warwick Seniors Picnic would not be possible. My hats off to all and congratulations on a great job.
