School closure

What is happening in the Warwick school district is very upsetting.

By closing another elementary school, restructuring the remaining schools K-4, and redistricting students again, all with the full knowledge that a third school will likely be closed in the near future, Warwick is again laying the burden of the budget crisis on the shoulders of our youngest citizens and ignoring their need for stability and a plan for their future.

Elementary students are not just numbers to be juggled. They are children at an age where stability is very important to their development.

Surely there must be a better way then continually shuffling our little children from school to school.

I ask my fellow Warwickians to not give up just yet, and to work together for a better solution.
