Save Park Avenue elementary: History. Community. Legacy

• History
As the original Warwick Valley High School, the current Park Avenue Elementary School has a long history in this Village and Town. Many long time residents attended Park Ave in their formative years. That history continues today with 425 school children in grades K-5. Let’s keep the tradition going.

• Community
As the only Warwick Valley Elementary School in the Village of Warwick, Park Avenue Elementary School allows its students, teachers, staff, and parents to walk to and from homes and shops in the Village. This classic school is a vital part of our small community and we consider it a mutual benefit to all residents whether or not their children attend the school or have long since graduated from this school. The central location of this school in a residential neighborhood promotes our Village as a wonderful place to buy a home, live, and raise children.

• Legacy
When the focus of our lives, our children, graduate from Elementary School and move on to Middle School and High School, we quickly forget the importance of those formative years. Park Avenue Elementary is where our children learn the fundamentals that will serve them well for the rest of their education and will be the foundation for their success in career and life. We owe it to our children to carry on the tradition of a classic elementary school as a central and vital focus of our community.
