Roxanne Donnery will change the status quo

    To the Editor:
Orange County’s citizens will soon have opportunity to elect leadership committed to changing the status quo of county government. We can finally move on with renovation of the government center and go forward in support of our elderly and infirm residents of Valley View; we can push to sell Camp LaGuardia and work to assure that no campaign contributor or municipality receives special treatment; we can find alternatives to partial closure of the ER at St. Luke’s Cornwall and seek to protect Orange County residents from the consequences of development proposed for a neighboring Sullivan County village...or we can continue decades of one-party control of Orange County government.

Roxanne Donnery places people and principles before party loyalty. Roxanne’s record is such that her candidacy has drawn the endorsement of community leaders as wide-ranging as Republican Town Supervisor Frank Fornario, and the Hudson-Catskill Central Labor Council’s President, Sparrow Tobin — who made reference to Roxanne’s clear position on local job growth: “When it comes to serving the people of Orange County, Roxanne Donnery has been on the right side of every major issue facing us.”

On Nov. 5, elect Roxanne Donnery to restore trust to the office of County Executive, Michael Isgur to introduce innovative management to the office of District Attorney, Deborah Mulqueen to achieve greater efficiencies in the office of County Clerk, and Roxanne’s entire slate of legislative candidates to give them the help they’ll need to provide for effective and efficient government through the next four years.
