‘No ideas on how’ to run the village
The recent photo you published showing Greenwood Lake’s village trustees endorsing their colleague for mayor is another piece of photographic evidence that they do not feel they must abide by the state’s Open Meetings Law.
I believe that the trustee e-mails I plan to FOIL (Freedom of Information Law request) this week will show that the four trustee amigos have had other illegal meetings via e-mail.
As for their endorsements, Trustee Casse rarely attends village board meetings but continues to unashamedly collect his stipend; Trusted Russo has flip-flopped so many times his ideology must be on a merry-go-round; Trustee Kelm recently told me that trustees work for the village 24-7. I hope she plans on detailing her accomplishments on behalf of the village.
As for trustee and mayoral candidate Dwyer, what is your platform?
How do you plan to keep taxes stable, keep the lake from deteriorating, keep us well protected? You recently voted against hiring police officers.
We have a group of trustees that flaunt the Open Meetings Law and have done nothing on their own since being appointed/elected. That’s a great group to be making endorsements.
They simply want to run this village but they have no ideas on how to do that.
