Neuhaus responds: 'The state can suspend the permits. They should have a long time ago.'
The press release writers are confused or more likely being misled. They need to visit their state and federal officials who gave out the permits.
They want me to call on the governor to pull the permits?
I called on the state – which is run by the governor – to review them all over a year ago.
They didn’t do it.
Of course, the permits should be pulled. The people who issued the permits must answer for CPV - our state and federal officials.
The state can suspend the permits. They should have a long time ago.
Given that the governor’s top aide was convicted in this matter, the likelihood of the state agencies he controls doing something is unlikely - to put it mildly.
Therefore, due to the failures of the agencies that the governor controls, the Assembly and Senate should act.
If one acts but not the other, at least we know who to put the pressure on.
All I know at the local level is N.Y.S. government has victimized Orange County and nobody from the state is getting anything done.
In the meantime, Michael Sussman rallies CPV opponents to selectively protest his political adversaries while the people who have legal power to do something, i.e.: Gunther, Skoufis, Maloney, are ignored (he mentioned Bonacic).
