Michael Sweeton: Proven leadership

I have known Michael Sweeton most of my life: from the days of the Warwick Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce), as a fellow board member of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, a personal friend, as another local businessperson and, finally, as an enthusiastic supporter of this gentleman in his public endeavors.

We have worked with Michael in our capacity as risk manager and insurance consultant over his entire tenure as the supervisor of the Town of Warwick, and I can tell you that this is a sincere individual who is intelligent, works extremely well with people and the business community and who is not afraid to speak his mind and back up his convictions with honesty and integrity.

His unparalleled effectiveness as the Town of Warwick supervisor cannot be denied and is revealed in his many accomplishments. He has been such a consistent, fair and productive civil servant … a rare bird indeed, it would seem, in this day and age of politics.

And I think therein lies the key observation: Michael Sweeton is a civil servant of the people and our business community … not your typical politician.

There is absolutely no question in my mind that Michael Sweeton is the right choice for our county government. He will bring the same level of effectiveness and integrity to Orange County as he has done so over the past 11-plus years as supervisor in the county’ largest town.
