Michael Newhard announces his bid for re-election as mayor

The beginning of the 21st century has been an extraordinary time to be the mayor of the Village of Warwick. We have become a role model regionally for our governance and our accomplishments. I believe it’s been through the strong partnerships with municipal, civic and non-profit organizations that we have grown and created a vibrant and beautiful Village. In essence it has been the hard work of many that has made us such a strong and resilient community.
I am pleased to announce my bid for re- election for Village Mayor. I’ve had the honor to serve in this office since 2000. Prior to that I served as a village trustee and deputy mayor.
The village election is March 20th. I share the ballot with Trustees Bill Lindberg and George McManus who have served as strong and effective board members. Both men have brought their individuality and expertise to the board. I hope that you will support them in their bid for re-election.
As I look forward, I see a great deal of work to be done: infrastructure, public safety, environmental quality, parks and recreation. I believe teamwork and the dedication of the entire Village Board is the greatest foundation toward the accomplishment of these goals. It is my hope through my bid for re-election to continue this vital work.
Respectfully, I request your continued support and vote on March 20th.
    Very truly,
    Mayor Michael Newhard
    Warwick
