Memorial Day thanks
The Warwick Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4662 would like to express its sincere thanks to the ShopRite store on Route 94 and the Warwick Fire Department for their continued support.
The success of the Post’s BBQ which followed the Memorial Day Parade is attributed to them and is greatly appreciated. The ShopRite organization and Warwick’s firefighters have consistently shown their unwavering support to the veterans of our community and they are to be commended for their contributions which are demonstrated year after year.
We would also like to extend our thanks to the Pennings family for their contribution of a wagon for the parade so that our older veterans could participate in the parade without having to march.
Finally, our thanks goes out to the entire Warwick community: Residents, the American Legion, Warwick Police Department, Warwick Fire Department, EMS, Ambulance Corps, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the Knights of Columbus and the Warwick Valley High School Band for their attendance and support at the parade in remembrance of all those who gave their lives in service to our country.
