Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely.

The face of Greenwood Lake is changing. Our civic groups are thriving due to new leadership from young parents who want to make this a better place for their children, with more opportunities than the ones they grew up in.

That is why I voice my support for Jesse Dwyer for mayor and feel that he has the drive and determination to make positive changes.

My wife and I have lived in the village for 32 years. I have been a past trustee and deputy mayor and I can tell you that being a public official is a thankless job. Each time we elect a new board, we act on faith that we will be represented by a cohesive board. That is no longer the case. We need a board that is willing to work together, share a vision, make compromises and lead us as a group and not as individuals.

Positive change only happens with positive people. That is why I will be supporting Jesse Dwyer for mayor and Kelly Kelm and Tom Howley for trustee on March 19.

All three are honest, approachable and share the vision for the future.
