Keep the money - and the jobs - here in Orange County

Does anyone else get the impression that our county executive has ties to Westchester?

    He employs Westchester consultants.

He gets bids from Westchester construction firms: $173,000,000 for a new government center; $40,000,000 for renovations.

Either way, our tax dollars, if Edward Diana has his way, will end up in Westchester banks.

Huh? What’s wrong with Orange County? This is our home.

How about this? Use the $40,000,000 and hire Orange County college students and Orange County residents to tear out the carpet, bleach the walls and paint using a Habitat for Humanity template.

Pay them $35/hour and keep our money at home.

Orange County money will multiply buy being spent buying Orange county cars and by buying Orange County meals at Orange County restaurants.

This is our home Ed. It’s also OUR government center - not Westchester’s.
