Jesse Dwyer ‘has restored my faith’

We currently have a young man who is so passionate about this village that he is seeking the responsibility to be our next Mayor.

He has done what local elected officials and national politicians dream of doing: Getting the next generation of residents involved in their community to take an active role in their local governments.

I had the opportunity to attend a fund raiser that Mr. Dwyer held last fall where he announced he would be running for village mayor. There was a sense of excitement from people of all ages looking for change. Current village trustees were there showing support for their colleague to lead them as the mayor of this village, which speaks volumes.

I saw a young man who expressed so much intelligence, passion and motivation that there was no question in my mind that Jesse could lead Greenwood Lake as mayor.

My family has resided in this town since before the 1900s and in the village since its founding. I have always tried to stay proud and involved but I can honestly say that as someone who has lost pride and passion in their village over the years, Jesse has restored my faith and inspired me to want to be involved in helping to restore the unique community where my family has called home for over a century.
