‘Is this democracy’

I’ve had enough! Not as a Republican or a Democrat but as a citizen and taxpayer of Orange County. I’ve definitely had enough of Mr. Diana and mostly, but not all of the Republican legislators.

How much more time and money of ours are they going to waste? In February of this year, 21 of our legislators voted 15 to 6 to renovate the Orange County Government Center.

How dare Mr. Diana, Mr. Pillmeier and Mr. Benton undermine that vote?

Is this a democracy?
That vote by the legislators meant that the whole building would be renovated - not just parts of the building.

It also meant that renovating instead of demolishing the building or any part of the building would save millions of dollars and save more wasted time.

The Government Center was built with type A material, the best there is - solid concrete. Can you imagine the mess, dust, noise, etc., to demolish that building?

Hasn’t Goshen suffered enough?

Haven’t we all suffered enough?

I’m beginning to think that Mr. Diana, now that he is no longer running for re-election and no longer subject to the public, thinks he can do whatever he wants to. I’m outraged and I hope you are too.
