In GWL, vote for Lena Buckley and Mary Fagan

In the past few months we have all witnessed the struggles of our surrounding school districts. Fears of schools closing, consolidations and hard decisions of where to send our high school students have been all something that families in our area have dealt with.

With the Greenwood Lake School Board’s election coming up, I believe we should elect members to the board who will be honest, hardworking and make decisions that will suit the people of our community the best. Those two candidates are absolutely without a doubt Lena Buckley and Mary Fagan.

Both Lena and Mary have been actively involved in the Greenwood Lake community for many years and both have children that are in, or have gone through our school district.

Mary has served as School Board member in the past and has coached and ran the CYO basketball program.

Lena has been a T-Ball coach, volunteered for Vacation Bible School and a CCD teacher.

These two women have both worked with children in the past and know what is best for the good of our community.

Being a young member of our small community I would encourage that the rest of the youth within the district and all members of our community vote for Lena Buckley and Mary Fagan on May 21.
