‘If our side doesn’t speak for God, who will?’

After reading Susan Miller’s somewhat gloating letter about her side winning this election, I felt I needed to respond to her diatribe:

    • She basically called the Republican leadership “loonies,” which is to say that leaders such as Pelosi and Reid, and frankly our leftist president, are the cream of the Democratic crop. Spare me.

    • The “I am Woman” hear me roar nonsense has got to go. We are all part of the electorate, and believe it or not Ms. Miller, many of the fairer sex voted Republican and would take offense to your categorization.

    • If you mean to court those other than “white” people you mean to compromise on our basic principles, then I am sorry, but for me and many like me that will not happen. What I prefer to do is to have honest discourse with those who do not believe the way I do in order to persuade them to a conservative approach to government.

    • To site Hurricane Sandy as the evidence of man made global warming shows such a lack of understanding of this issue as to make this and your other arguments hardly worth reading. And it is funny, but I am sure that when Bush was in control that you blasted him about FEMA during Katrina, but since it is Obama, well then, they are doing a great job!

    • Buy democracy? You have got to be kidding. Firstly, the Democrats outspent the Republicans by over $100 million dollars (right out of the New York Times, hardly a conservative publication). And you want to talk about buying votes? Be careful what you have wished for, but when that magical 47 percent on the government dole goes past 50 percent, then you will have your wish and you will have taken our country down the socialist path, with no way to return.

And if our side doesn’t speak for God, who will ... your side? Your side who proudly hails abortion and the killing of innocents, over 50 million lives gone because of the hardening of your hearts?

No, we will continue to “speak” for God as we cling to our bibles and our guns.

As our economy goes deeper and deeper into the abyss, as we lose more and more of our liberties and freedoms, I wonder if people like you will still be blaming Bush?

Or will you come to your senses and realize the mistake that you made.
