'I have never seen any such behavior'

Over the past 10 years or so, I’ve made frequent visits to Warwick with family and friends to enjoy many pleasant hours of dining, shopping and strolling.
Recently, I’ve become aware of resistance to John and Peggy Christison’s plans to relocate and expand Yesterdays. I understand that the resistance is based on fears of disturbance and troublesome, noisy behavior.
In the 20 or more times I’ve enjoyed John and Peg’s hospitality at Yesterdays, I have never seen any such behavior.
I’ve been at Yesterdays for time with family and friends, for dinner and drinks with my wife, or for family gatherings of three generations including young grandchildren. Yesterday is that kind of a place; that’s what John and Peg do.
A large part of what they do and offer discourages and prevents the type of patron and behavior that is in the minds of those that resist the Christison’s plans.
I hope the people and government of Warwick see the value of Yesterdays to the town and recognize the way John and Peg help make Warwick a favored destination for dining and shopping.
