How do you spell help? DPW

We would like to thank the Warwick Village Department of Public Works for once again stepping up for their village school.
We had our annual “Parents as Reading Partners” program this month and the theme was “Reading builds character.”
In keeping with the construction theme, we asked Public Works Supervisor Kirk Williams if we could borrow a few signs and maybe a construction vest.
He said “go down to the yard and tell the guys to let the little kids have what they need.”
When we got there the guys picked out some great construction horses, orange cones and signs and even helped in loading the car.
The “construction” party was a huge hit because the kids said they felt they were at a real construction site.
Thanks to the Warwick Village DPW for helping out it’s village school.
