Honor and Remembrance

| 29 May 2014 | 01:07

An 18 or 19 year old enters the military service, serves their country in a foreign land; sees and does what's expected, but the images of death, dying and destruction remain.

Many receive the Purple Heart, but are unable to wear it; they have paid the ultimate price.

Purple Heart, admired by many, desired by none.

When at Arlington National Cemetery, notice the ages: 17, 18, 19.

    Uncommon valor a true virtue.
God bless America and God bless our troops.
