Help gives hope: Fund raiser for Steve Cooper

| 03 Jul 2014 | 02:16

The generosity of so many helped to make the fund raiser a success. We are blessed to live in a community dedicated to giving back to others, especially in their time of great need.

Our delicious food donators: Price Chopper, Shop Rite, Bagel Time and Jean Claude's for their true generosity (with some extra sets of helping hands donated by Price Chopper).

Our wonderful line-up of talented musical entertainment organized by Chip Murray, starting with E'lissa Jones, Chip Murray with his guitarist Pete Vertutes, Marji Zantz, Allison Hughes, John Sheenan, the 3rd Degree, Galea & the Galvanizers, with our sound man Bob Keegan.

Our event was held at the Doc Fry - Warwick Community Center, so thank you to Karen Thomas and her supporting staff for their wonderful hospitality. The room that held our Silent Auction was filled with a variety of colors, sizes and mediums of some extraordinary artwork donated by our local community of artists.

Most are affiliated with ArtWorks of Warwick. This portion of our fund raiser was organized by Valerie Lacey, who we are truly thankful to have donated many hours of her time.

Heartfelt thanks to all of you listed above, to those of you who came and volunteered their time and some people who just dropped by to give a donation.
