Hayworth's ‘common sense solutions’

I was at the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce debate between Congresswoman Hayworth and Sean Maloney. I must say that Congresswoman Hayworth has more common sense solutions than Mr. Maloney for the problems we have here in the Hudson Valley and in Washington, D.C.

Congresswoman Hayworth is dedicated to making sure that our tax dollars are being used efficiently so that we here in the Hudson Valley are not burdened with over taxation and excess regulation.

I believe that the federal Government should not receive any more of our tax dollars for programs that are not authorized under the constraints of our Constitution.

A good example of one is the Sean Maloney-supported monstrosity that is Obamacare, which will cripple small business owners like myself.

The federal government is too big and needs to be downsized, just like our state and local governments have had to do because they cannot run deficits.

If the Hudson Valley’s working middle class families must balance their budgets, why can’t our federal government do the same?
