For the betterment of Greenwood Lake and Warwick

In my sixteen years as a village resident, I have always been impressed with the way the residents of Greenwood Lake have come together to participate in the betterment of our community. I am truly thankful for your efforts and I am proud of your involvement.

As Greenwood Lakers, we care about our community and we want our community to look its very best.

Today I write this letter asking you, the residents of the Village of Greenwood Lake, as well as those residing in the surrounding areas, to once again come together for a weekend of spring cleaning in our community.

Over the weekend of April 27, 28 and 29, the Village of Greenwood Lake will be participating in “Operation Clean Sweep,” a town-wide effort to enhance the appearance of our community. Operation Clean Sweep is an annual effort to clean and beautify our great town and wonderful villages.

We had a great turnout last year and I am looking forward to seeing the same pride and energy on display this year.

Special thanks to Price Chopper of Warwick who graciously offered to provide all of the food for this year’s volunteers and special thanks to The Greenwood Lake Elks Lodge for offering to provide the BBQ and to cook this food for all of the volunteers.

I hope to see everyone out there during Operation Clean Sweep.

All the best, Jesse Dwyer Trustee, Village of Greenwood Lake
