To the Editor,
I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude to newly retired editor, Bob Quinn.
Bob has done extraordinary work during his tenure at Straus News. His clear understanding of what fosters and develops a community has been a hallmark to his success. To capture the individual nuances that make up each of our villages and town is a study in sensitivity and awareness.
I will miss our candid conversation - a bit like neighbors meeting at the back fence. That approachability was key to his editorial and personal style.
I wish all the best for the next adventures, less encumbered by responsibility and deadlines.
Be well Bob and thank you for your dedication to journalism and to us your readers.
