Elect Gregory G. Hoover Sr. judge in the Town of Warwick

As many of your readers already know, I am a candidate for Judge in the Town of Warwick on the Republican, Conservative and Independent lines in the primary election scheduled for June 25.
I read, with some amusement, letters to the editor (that appeared in the Warwick Dispatch) on May 30. It was of particular interest that most of the letters are from members of political party committees.
I would expect if someone were endorsing a judge, they would have some experience dealing with that person in the courtroom.
I realize that Judge DeAngelo is a nice person who volunteers a lot in community groups.
That, however, does not speak to her qualification to remain Warwick’s judge.
If you have not seen what goes on in the court for yourself, please ask a lawyer, any lawyer, their opinion regarding your vote.
Do not let the political committees tell you for whom you should vote.
I have practiced law for over 39 years, most of that practice in all courts in Orange and surrounding counties. Warwick needs a judge with “judicial temperament,” which is sorely lacking at present.
I am a Navy veteran, retired FDNY lieutenant, lived in Warwick 48 years, raised four children here and have a deep appreciation of the need to address the opioid crisis and help the children of Warwick.
    Gregory G. Hoover Sr.
