‘Don’t vote for change for the sake of change’

Please check out the resumes of the candidates running for mayor of Greenwood Lake. The present mayor, Barbara Moore, has a history of obtaining grants (money from others’ pockets) to effect change, low tax increases, water quality improvement, etc. She has increased our recreational area and now it belongs to the village residents.

Mr. Dwyer is a one and a half term trustee. He is young and his time will come.

If he wants to pursue a vocation in politics, he should serve as an apprentice longer.

What is his record in community service and organization?

What grants has he written or obtained?

Has he been the president of any local club, society or organization?

Tom Howley is running for trustee and has a better resume than Jesse Dwyer running for mayor. Tom has a background in law enforcement, past president of the little league and present E.R. of the Elks. He has local administrative and executive community service.

Don’t vote for change for the sake of change. Please vote thoughtfully and objectively.
