Deep Appreciation from the Warwick Playground Dreams Committee

| 10 Jan 2019 | 02:35

Warwick Playground Dreams committee members would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of those in the community who have reached out and supported our playground project.
Since April 2017, we have been raising funds to bring an inclusive playground to Stanley-Deming Park. It is our dream and mission to create a whimsical outdoor play space in our town, where children of all ages and abilities can enjoy the social, cognitive and physical benefits of play, so crucial to every child’s development.
We are currently in the last months of the component sponsorship phase of our fund-raising effort and are extremely grateful to all who have helped us raise more than $275,000. We would like to take the opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to the following component sponsors - businesses, congregations, organizations and families that in the last few months have chosen to financially sponsor a particular piece of playground equipment:
• Anonymous: Silver Sponsor
• Anonymous: Maze of Stairs
• Calvary Baptist Church of Warwick: Curvy Slide
• Arterial LLC: Bronze Sponsor
• AveXis: Bronze Sponsor
• Kuiken Brothers Company, Inc: Bronze Sponsor
• Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery: Tea Cup Spinner
• Warwick Girl Scout Service Unit #228: Low Monkey Bars and Tot Lot Hops

• Ms. Kyra Joy Hamling: Arched Rock Climb
• Ia’s Threads: Low Gym Bar

Warwick is a community made great by the people who care about the future of our town. We know that our children will benefit from the generosity of all who have given for generations to come.
We are still trying to raise another $75,000 in the next two months in order to be able to include as many elements of our playground design as possible.
More information on component sponsorships, engraved bricks and pickets and how to volunteer for Build Week April 22-28 is available at WarwickPlaygroundDreams.org.
With gratitude,
Hannelore Chambers
