Community generosity

    We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of the community. Thanks to the Warwick community and beyond for making our Baskets of Fun Carnival an overwhelming success. The auction raised more than $8,000 - money that will provide educational assemblies, enrichment programs and much, much more.

    We appreciate all the help and support. We know when times are tough all over we can count on our community rallies together and supports the schools and our children. So many businesses made contributions, either by donating to the Over-The-Top baskets, by sponsoring carnival games or by providing food, drinks or prizes. We would like to thank you all:

    Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to create their child’s Classroom Baskets, including collecting money, shopping and creating the masterpieces for the night of the event.

    Thanks you, Denise White, for all your hours representing Sanfordville and reaching out to merchants for donations.

    Thank you, Kim McGowan, for your weeks of tabulating tickets sales, and having everything ready for a smooth ticket experience at the front door.

    Thank you to the parents who worked the games, sold tickets, served food and snacks and donated your talents, time and money.

    Thank you to the parents who came in early to setup and stayed late to clean up.

    Thank you to the office staff at Sanfordville, especially Sheila Scheuermann, who constantly finds time to assist the PTA whether with communicating, encouraging or volunteering at various events.

    We would also like to thank the high school volunteers who painted faces, put on tattoos and served up snacks.

    Thank you to Principal Roger Longfield for your support and for fostering a culture where families are encouraged to be involved and work alongside teachers to educate our children.

    SES parents are proud of the dedicated teachers at Sanfordville and are excited that Sanfordville was awarded the Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award.
