Charles Papaceno, R.I.P.

For me Charlie Papaceno epitomized everything that makes Warwick what it is.
A hard-working man who served his Nation, Charlie started his career at the bottom of a local business and through his hard work and diligence worked his way up the ladder.
While he worked long hours he still managed to serve his town as a volunteer firefighter, VFW member and youth sports pioneer.
Above all he loved his family and was as proud of his children as any parent could ever be.
Perhaps it was a simpler time then, but Charlie was exactly the role model a young boy like me was inspired by: This quiet, simple man was as rich and successful as anyone who has only achieved material gains.
He has left his mark on our town, and we live in a better place because of it.
