‘Change is good has never been more appropriate’

In December 2010, Mayor Moore personally chose Jesse Dwyer as the replacement trustee for the late Agnes Kilduff’s vacant seat on the Village Board.

Jesse’s reputable qualities are his honesty, integrity and above all, his accountability. In a few short years, he has proven himself to be committed to the Village of Greenwood Lake.

I attended the mayoral forum on Friday, February 22 and I heard Jesse speak passionately about Greenwood Lake, but more importantly, he presented facts and figures. This left me to question the true state of affairs regarding our village budget.

Good leadership isn’t just about materialism, but fiscal responsibility.

Jesse continues to bring new and fresh ideas about local issues to the table. However, these are ideas are often discredited by our current mayor. In the past, the village has been run by the group of officials elected by the people, not just one person alone.

Jesse speaks publicly about ensuring that Greenwood Lake is the best place to live, and more importantly, for residents to be able to live here affordably. In order to reign in our current escalating village debt, Jesse needs your vote. He is a candidate for the people and wants to enhance the quality of life for all village residents.

Please join me on Election Day, Tuesday. March 19, to elect Jesse Dwyer for mayor, and Kelli Kelm and Tom Howley for trustees. This year, the phrase, “change is good,” has never been more appropriate.
