Broken bonds
We are grandparents of a freshman going to Tuxedo High this September. We are extremely disappointed in the Greenwood Lake Board of Education’s decision to remove Tuxedo as the third parental choice. We were led to believe all three schools would be in the choice.
This decision has caused many students and parents much sadness. Along with the major separation of community, they have destroyed the feeling of trust and closeness of neighbors and friends, students and faculty.
What a mess you have created with your deceitful decision.
Why on earth would any parent want to send their child to a school district who so blatantly voted against us when we wanted to attend their school?
Are we that naive to think that our children are wanted and acceptable now?
Why, because now they need us?
Really people, wake up and smell the manure because that is exactly what this is.
