Boxes For Soldiers care package drive moving to May 2019

Last November, Boxes For Soldiers (of the Hudson Valley) held a care package drive for our troops serving overseas.
Through the generosity of our local communities, we were able to send a wonderful 227 care packages to the men and women of our armed forces.
After much consideration, however, we have decided to move our next care package drive (and all future drives) to May 2019 to coincide with Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day.
We are making this change because troops receive a lot of items and cards around the holidays, but often very little during the remainder of the year.
We want our troops to know they are in our thoughts all year long.
As the date for the next BFS drive gets closer, we will be publicizing the details of the drive for donations. Please look for us next May.
We are confident that our communities will be as supportive in
May 2019 as they were in November 2017.
