‘Bob Howe continues to work hard’

I met Bob Howe in 1996 while serving on the Budget Advisory Committee for the Warwick Valley School District. My impression of him then was a dedicated man with integrity who was willing to give up his Monday nights to volunteer for a thankless job that is often criticized by the taxpayers.

Seventeen years later my impression of him has not changed. Bob has demonstrated his knowledge of the workings of being a school board member and has served as vice president and president of the board.

While serving all these years on the Board of Education, Bob has been a part of the selection committee for not one but two superintendents as well as serving during construction of the Sanfordville Elementary School and renovations to the other district buildings.

While some of the decisions over these years have been difficult for the taxpayers of the Warwick Valley School District to understand, Bob continues to work hard and always has the best interest of both the students and taxpayers in mind.
