Bill Lindberg seeks re-election as Warwick trustee
To my village of Warwick neighbors:
I want to take this opportunity to announce my re-election candidacy for the position of Trustee of the Village of Warwick.
I have been a resident of the Village for 23 years, residing on Linden Place. I am married and have two grown children who attended the Warwick Valley Central schools.
My wife, Judy, is vice president of patient care services at St. Anthony Community Hospital where she has worked for 23 years.
I have been a management employee for ARAMARK Corporation, an $11 billion international services organization, for 35 years and retired from this company in 2008. For 21 years I was district manager of the food service division for multiple states and managed more than 650 employees and a $26 million annual budget.
I was responsible, not only for fiscal management, but also oversaw strategic planning, human resources, regulatory compliance and project development for ARAMARK clients in the Northeast.
I joined the Warwick Fire Department in 1997. I am a past president and currently, the treasurer of the Goodwill Hook & Ladder Company and also the treasurer of the Warwick Fire Department.
I am a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church and currently serve on the Board of Trustees.
I volunteer at the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry and am volunteer for the Warwick Meals on Wheels Program.
I was involved with the Warwick Little League when my daughters were growing up, serving as both coach and umpire and still actively involved as an umpire.
I am a member and coach of Crossfit Warwick.
This record of involvement and experience demonstrates both the dedication and competence I have that will allow me to effectively represent the interests of our village residents.
I look forward to serving you for another four years and appreciate your consideration of my candidacy.
My past four years as Village Trustee have been rewarding. I believe the village is fortunate to have Michael Newhard as mayor along with the three trustees, Barry Cheney, George McManus and Eileen Patterson.
We work together putting the best interests of all village residents. Regards,
Bill Lindberg
