'Best place to deliver a baby'

I am writing regarding my experience in the maternity unit of St. Anthony Community Hospital this March 2014. I strongly feel that the community needs to know that there is an amazing group of individuals in the maternity unit at SACH.

This was my second experience having a baby at St. Anthony's. When my husband and I first found out that we were expecting our second child, we also found out that my current OB was no longer delivering babies.

Therefore, we were forced to search for a new OB, but we knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the pre-requisite had to be that they would deliver at St. Anthony's in Warwick.

I had such an amazing experience while having my son in May 2010 that I knew there would be no other place for us to deliver our second child.

My expectations and standards were pretty high, given the amazing experience I had in 2010, and the nurses and staff at St. Anthony's met and surpassed all of my expectations.

I cannot emphasize enough the gratitude we feel for the nurses and staff on the maternity unit. Each and every nurse and staff person that we met made a lasting impression on myself and my family. Their professionalism, incredible passion and love for what they do, and kindness shone through in every gesture and every comforting word they spoke.

I will forever hold these special people in my heart and remember the impression they made on us, as we welcomed our little girl into this world and into our family.
