Barbara Moore has ‘earned my respect’
Did you ever meet one of those welcoming people who cares deeply about their community and invests tremendous time and energy into making it a better place?
Back in 2000 when I moved to Greenwood Lake, I met one named Barbara Moore and she immediately encouraged me to get involved and make a difference.
Since that day she has constantly proven herself as a great motivator, administrator and leader and earned my respect time and time again.
That is why I support her being re-elected mayor in the Village of Greenwood Lake.
Throughout my four years as chairman of the Village Planning Board and six years as a fellow village board member I have seen her accomplish great positive change. New parks, playgrounds, vastly improved water quality, concerts, recreational summer programs and projects to improve the health of our lake are due in no small part to her efforts and coordination.
In these tough times she has also been able to keep budgets in check and save village taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars including reducing insurance and DPW costs at no reduction in services.
I would urge you to vote for Barbara Moore on March 19.
