Barbara Moore for mayor
The Village of Greenwood Lake has over the past six years experienced some very positive changes.
Mayor Moore has made this possible by working tirelessly with the different town, county and state agencies. Her perseverance has been a benefit to the entire community and all of the people who visit it.
She has been at every Greenwood Lake Commission meeting and took an opportunity to install the aeration system to help improve the deteriorating condition of the lake.
Mayor Moore has organized many events for the village residents to enjoy with their family and friends.
She took a failing water filtration plant and corrected the deficiencies, using grant monies to offset the cost to the village tax payers.
Her ability to write grants has been a powerful tool in getting things done in the village without it being supported by tax dollars.
It is important that all village residents take a good look at what has been done over the past six years while the tax base remained flat, only a 1.4 percent increase, not many villages or towns in our area can state this.
Get out and vote keeping an open mind as to what is best for the village and it residents.
