Arthur R. Rhodes

Arthur R. Rhodes of Warwick passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013, at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick. He was 85 years old.

Born April 7, 1928 ,in Springfield, Mass., he was the son of Arthur and Edna (Johnson) Rhodes.

He was married to Ruth (Putnam) Rhodes.

Arthur was a Repair Technician, Chief of Design, with Reliance Electronic Motor Repairs in Holyoke, Mass. He was a member of the Lions Club in Massachusetts and the Warwick Reformed Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Warwick; his son David Rhodes and his wife Diane of Merritt Island, Fla.; daughter Annie Streiff and her husband Harley of Florida, N.Y.; five grandchildren: Autumn, Seth, Joshua, Will and Joseph; and a niece, Cynthia MacDonald Waters of Harleysville, Pa.

Memorial visitation will be on Friday, May 10, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
