Acts of generosity

When our daughter, Natalie (grade 11 Warwick Valley High School) learned of County Executive Steve Neuhaus' recent deployment to the Middle East, she was inspired to act on behalf of his request for basic supplies needed by our troops.
With the assistance of her teacher Mr. Eugene Burns, Natalie coordinated a large scale collection of travel size necessities as part of Operation All For the Troops.
The collection benefits more than 200 Orange County soldiers currently deployed overseas.
Donations poured in from her high school classmates of necessities such as deodorant, powder, wipes, shampoo, sunscreen, toothpaste, playing cards, snacks, etc.
I have included a photo of the very generous donations made by Warwick students and their families.
We would greatly appreciate if The Warwick Advertiser could include this in an upcoming edition as a way to thank our community for their generosity.
Thanks again,
Liesel and Steve Daigle
