A tribute honoring all local veterans
In appreciation for the sacrifices made and services rendered to our nation by our local veterans, a poignant tribute is currently on display at the Buckbee Center, 2 Colonial Ave., Warwick (next to the Post Office).
The tribute honors all local veterans dating back to the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War and Persian Gulf wars.
This historical exhibit includes our veterans' memorabilia, photos, valor medals, citations, awards, personal journals, uniforms, memorial plaques and much more.
Many of our local veterans and their families have shared generously to make this event possible.
You have the opportunity to view this phenomenal display daily through the Fourth of July.
The hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
