A giving community
Plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers, tree men, local businesses and residents - 75 in all - from Warwick’s Grace Community Church recently spent a very long day at the Warwick Valley Community Center.
Since then, visitors have commented on the beautiful changes in the front of and inside our 93-year-old building.
Landscaping, plumbing and painting in the bathrooms, new light fixtures inside and out, tree work, cleaning and organizing … the list goes on and on.
Just as amazing as the work they performed were the smiles and laughter they expressed throughout the day.
In order for Grace to do the physical we needed the help of our community businesses. Thank you to Roe Brothers, Wadeson’s Agway and Kuiken Brothers for generously donating materials and always being there for our local Community Center.
It’s especially refreshing in this day of busy lives along with political and social tension to see everyone open their hearts.
The Community Center is continually striving to serve and to be more welcoming.
We want to extend a hearty thanks to Pastor Jason Ham and the Grace Community for their extraordinary role in helping us achieve this mission.
With Much Appreciation,
Karen Thomas on behalf of
The Warwick Valley Community Center
