A discordant note

I'd like to say to the restaurant owners in town who want the free Friday and Saturday night concerts to stop, to realize that if it weren't for those concerts I, and many other people, wouldn't be in town Friday or Saturday night.

I adore the free concerts.
Many times it's the reason I do not travel outside of town for dinner. I shop in town before the concerts, stay listen for a bit, then meet friends for dinner at one of the local restaurants.

It's a shame there are a few rotten apples who do not embrace the value of these free concerts.

Use it to your advantage, advertise and market before/after concerts specials.

If these few curmudgeons end our wonderful free concerts, I for one, will go elsewhere for shopping and dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.
