The viewpoints of Senator Mike Martucci, Assemblyman Colin Schmitt and Chairman GOP Nick Langworthy sadden me pertaining to the mask mandate. I understand the concerns for the economy, but if we don’t get control of the pandemic, more lives will be lost. I lost a family member to Covid 19 for failure to vaccinate. The mask will go a long way toward limiting the spread of the virus. My family received the vaccine, booster and also still wears a mask in public settings. I am disappointed that our representatives are doing this for political gain rather than the safety of our constituents. Please, we are in this together. Let’s do the right thing by Governor Hochul.
