Legion pleased with turnout

To the editor: On behalf of the officers and members of Post 214, 1 would like to thank all members of the general public who turned out to participate in our Memorial Day ceremonies on May 28, and in so doing made that day so memorable. We deeply appreciate that fact, especially since Memorial Day is so important for all veterans and all patriotic Americans. We look forward to seeing all of you at our next parade in 2008. Fred W.
