John Hall is the one to unseat Sue Kelly

To the editor: Finally, if we citizens of the 19th Congressional District play our cards right, we will have a candidate who espouses a vision for the good of the whole ... someone who will not merely give lip service to concepts of peace through diplomacy, adequate health care for all, environmental protection, renewable and sustainable energy and freedom from government intrusion. None of the above have been achieved under the incumbency of Sue Kelly. Worse yet, she is a compadre of one of the most questionably ethical persons in the history of the United States Congress: Kenneth DeLay. It has been a very long time, at least to this writer’s recollection, since residing in the 19th Congressional District for nearly 24 years, that a candidate as exciting, articulate, dynamic, and artistic as John Hall has run for Congress. Let’s face it, more than 65 percent of us have had it with our meddling in Iraq and Afghanistan while, daily, innocent lives are lost and a myriad of American soldiers are either killed, maimed, or permanently emotionally scarred. In less than 20 years the earth might become an environmental disaster ... irreversible ... and under the policies of the present Administration and Congress, we seem to be taking that same fateful ride as the leading characters chose at the conclusion of the movie, “Thelma And Louise.” It’s time to shake out the cobwebs and political inertia many of us feel and check out the Web site of John Hall: www.johnhallforcongress.com. You will be pleasantly surprised. Russ Layne Warwick
