Iurato announces re-election bid
To the editor: I would like to announce that I am seeking re-election for the position of Village Trustee. I have been on the Village Board for eight years and would like to continue the great working relationship the board has had over these years. I have lived in the Village for nearly 30 years and own, along with my wife Debbie, Peck’s Wine & Spirits in the village for the last 21 years. I have worked with two mayors, numerous trustees and many different village employees. Currently, I am liaison to the DPW, Merchants Guild and Village Hall employees. I am in charge of parking, traffic, and a new alternative energy committee. I am also on the sidewalk committee and have just joined the Shade Tree Commission. One of my favorite responsibilities is running the Village Summer Music Series on the Railroad Green. I select music in a wide range of styles and choose local talent whenever possible. My wife and I are members of The Warwick Historical Society and are proud sponsors of local youth sports teams and major organizations within the Town of Warwick. This position is more than just working for village residents; we also strive to make our village beautiful for all town residents and visiting guests. I love to live, work and spend time with family and friends here in our beautiful village and town. I ask for your support on March 18 to continue to serve the people of the Village of Warwick. Thank you. Bill Iurato Warwick
