Greenwood Lake Library says thanks
To the editor: On behalf of the Greenwood Lake Public Library, I extend this thank you to the many volunteers who offered their time and efforts during our big, three-day book sale this fall. The book sale drew crowds of lucky readers who found an amazing selection of great books, vintage books, audio books, children’s books, CDs, DVDs, magazines and cassette tapes. We also thank Joan Cerone and the Forest Park Homeowner’s Association for the use of its Special Event tents. We’re positive that these tents helped in advertising the event, especially to the passing motorists who noticed the white tents and stopped by to see what the festivities were all about. Special thanks to the Junior Friends of the Library for their assistance in carrying what seemed to be endless boxes of books and extra special thanks to adult volunteers Bridget Cirbes, Diane Dyne, Kate Elgheur, Toni Ehlers, Janine McHugh, Cathy Lanahan, Karen McNamara and Stacey Myles for their assistance in sorting books, packing books and setting up the bookshelves and tables. Thanks to the community for their book donations and their continued support. Endless thanks to my sons, Sal and Vinny, who forever help their mommy make the library a better place for all of us to visit. Kelly Corrado, coordinator Promotional and special programming
