Getting out the vote

To the editor: For those of us who live in Chester, whose children go to Warwick schools and who are new to the area and don’t know that we are paying taxes for both Chester and Warwick libraries, here is good news. You may go to Warwick library on April 4 to vote to increase your own taxes. It is a rare opportunity to partake in a stuff-the-box-with-paper-ballot situation, almost like voting in Iraq. Here is an interesting thought: Do you think that the impending multimillion dollar construction of a new Warwick Library and the ever-increasing library budgets are going to compete with Warwick School budget for the same dollars, which are coming from your pocket? Do you think it may hinder your children’s education in the future? So, how about putting the April 4 Warwick Library vote on your calendar? Vladimir Golyakhovsky Chester
