sacred place to another’ To the editor: God bless our Farmers’ Market. I am a Catholic. Almost every Sunday after Mass, I go to the Farmers’ Market on South St. I go from one holy and sacred place to another. I want to encourage all Sunday churchgoers to do the same. Go from one holy and sacred place to another. Today’s Gospel was about the multiplication of fishes and loaves. Abundance. The Lord’s providence and bounty. Our beautiful valley’s riches may be best expressed in all our churches and all our farms. The Lord is feeding us through the Farmers’ Market. Please support our farmers who are doing the Lord’s work. Supporting our farmers directly is a way to bring prayer into our public life, to give thanks and to share blessings with our farmers who bring this awesome harvest to our tables.
