Cheney's concern is what's best for his community
To the editor: Why should the voters of the Village of Warwick vote for Barry Cheney on March 18? Because you will get one of the most qualified, dedicated, honest leaders we have ever had the opportunity to elect to our Village Board. I have watched Barry for the better part of the past 20 years as he served the people of this community on the Village Planning Board, the Comprehensive Master Plan Committee, the Central Place (commercial district) Strategy Committee and as a leader of his church. His quiet demeanor, his grasp of issues, his ability to clearly articulate his ideas and his ability to inspire others to follow mark him as a true leader. Barry’s only concern is what is in the best interest of his community. He has no hidden agenda. I know that Barry has the respect and admiration of all those with whom he has come in contact in his many years of service to our community. Now we need him to provide clear insight, leadership and guidance on our Village of Warwick Village Board. Judy and I will be voting for Barry. We hope you will be, too. John S. Hicks Warwick
