The historic African-American community, Greenwood Forest Farms, near Greenwood Lake, will celebrate Black History Month at the Greenwood Lake and Albert Wisner Libraries, presenting the history of Harlem Cultural Council and Youth Theatre Interactions. The Harlem Cultural Council spawned the Black Arts Movement with its great jazz, dance and art of the 1960s and 1970s. Patti De Arcy, singer, activist, filmmaker, will screen portions of her new film, “The Harlem Cultural Council” and share the highlights. Youth Theater Interactions in Yonkers, a community-based theater born out of the Black Arts Movement, will perform scenes from “A Raisin in the Sun” and an original piece, “Risky Business,” for families, the young and the old, with audience participation dealing with abusive and difficult relationships. The performances are set for Saturday, Feb. 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the Greenwood Lake Public Library and at 2:30 p.m. at the Albert Wisner Public Library. Everett Cox Warwick
